Lior is a seasoned manufacturing and investment leader with a passion for bringing a full-stack approach to legacy industries and building digital bridges to the physical world. In addition to co-founding Bright Machines in 2018, he founded Eclipse Ventures where he is a Managing Partner. Previously, Lior was founder and General Partner at LabIX, the hardware investment platform of Flex where he led investments in companies across energy storage, wireless/infrastructure, 3-D optics, additive manufacturing, and robotics. He also co-founded Farm 2050, was part of the founding team of Elementum and helped build Intucell. He sits on Bright Machines’ Board of Directors and the boards of Owlet Baby Care, Metrolink, Lucira and Augury. Lior is a (Res) of an elite Special Forces unit in the Israel Defense Force.

Yael is an HR leader with over 25 years of experience across human resource functions and organizational development domains. Prior to joining Bright Machines, she held senior roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Max Finance where she developed and grew high performing teams. Yael also founded a consulting company that provided recruiting services to senior executives and tech talents from leading companies across industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences from Tel Aviv University and a master’s degree in art from Lesley University.

Paolo is a manufacturing and industrial automation executive specializing in strategy, planning, and control operations. Before joining Bright Machines, he was Head of Digital for Comau North America after serving as Head of Global Planning, Head of Supply Chain, and Head of Manufacturing. He’s also held consulting and management roles at Accenture and Cooper Standard. Paolo holds a master of science in formal methods from Universita’ degli Studi di Salerno and an MBA from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.

Michael is an experienced finance professional and tech industry veteran with over 20 years of building teams, driving transformational change, and instituting operational efficiency. Prior to joining Bright Machines, he was President of STANLEY X, and was also the CFO for the company’s emerging markets business. Previously, Michael ran R&D finance and held leadership positions in Corporate FP&A and Operations at Apple and at Intel in finance and strategy roles, with a focus on manufacturing operations. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Cornell University.

Itai is an experienced product management and R&D leader with over 20 years of technical expertise in robotics, software, networking, cloud, and data-based systems. Prior to joining Bright Machines, he co-founded Intuition Robotics and served as its VP of R&D. He’s also held leadership roles in product management, R&D, and product architecture at Nokia, SAP, and RAD. Itai holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo and a master’s degree in philosophy of science from Tel Aviv University.

Adam is a manufacturing and engineering expert, with two decades of experience pioneering and implementing automation strategies to directly address customer pain points and reveal new market opportunities. Prior to Bright Machines, he was with Flex, leading the Manufacturing Technology and Automation team. He also held a variety of technology and engineering roles at Solectron. Adam has multiple utility patents across automation, and diagnostic domains.

Stephen is a business leader with over 25 years’ experience leading global cross-functional teams to create strategies and programs that drive growth. Before joining Bright Machines, he was Sr. Director of Sales Operations at Synopsys. He also held Sales Operations, Strategic Planning and Financial Management roles at Autodesk, RedSpark and Intel. Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance from the University of Glasgow.

Calanit has over 25 years’ experience as a software leader. She is skilled in technology and business strategy and has scaled SaaS and big data platforms across industries, including cybersecurity, telecommunications, networking, and manufacturing. Before joining Bright Machines, Calanit was Research and Development Big Data Group Leader for Verint after serving as Cyber Development Team Leader. She also held software engineering roles at 3AM Technologies and Hingi. Calanit was educated in the computer science elite unit of the Israeli Defense Forces.

Caroline is a global industry executive with over 25 years of experience in high-tech and industrial manufacturing. Prior to joining Bright Machines, she was at Honeywell where she was most recently Vice President of Strategy and Ventures. She established Honeywell’s Corporate Marketing organization and led marketing for High Growth Regions. Before Honeywell, Caroline held leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Intel Corporation, and Ford Motor Company. She spent over 15 years living and working internationally. Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
