Bright Machines Named to Forbes AI 50

Bright Machines placed #13 on the new Forbes AI 50 – an annual ranking of America’s most promising artificial intelligence companies. Forbes recognized us for our work leveraging AI to solve for the inherent problems afflicting one of the world’s largest and most critical industries – manufacturing.

Forbes partnered with Meritech Capital to rank companies and teamed with an impressive panel of judges hailing from top public companies and academia including Facebook, MIT’s Computer Science and AI Lab, Microsoft, NVIDIA, IBM, Stanford, and Pinterest.

It is quite an honor to be included among all of the other AI innovators on the list. Recognition like this is a testament to the work we’ve put in since introducing Bright Machines to the world last year. We’ve amassed an impressive team of experienced manufacturing vets, robotics and hardware experts, and software leaders specialized in machine learning, computer vision and product assembly.  We’ve expanded our customer work to nearly 30 production lines around the globe, introduced the world’s first software-defined microfactory and opened a Seattle outpost alongside our development centers in San Francisco and Tel Aviv.
